Located at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World - Florida, Tiffins is a signature restaurant with excellent service paired with delicious food. The first time we ate there was right after getting engaged, and every visit since then we've been greeted warmly and had a personalized "welcome back!" type card waiting for us at the table. Needless to say it is one of our favorite restaurants in Animal Kingdom and Walt Disney World in general.

There are a few different rooms with different focuses in the decor, but I won't spoil the experience of having your server fill you in on the interesting details and backstory behind the decoration inspiration. Let's get on with answering, "How was the food?!"

We ordered the Marinated Grilled Octopus as an appetizer, but it must have looked too good because we ate it up before remembering to take a photo! Oops. You'll just have to trust us when we say that you should definitely give this dish a try even if you've tried octopus before and hated it. Sometimes octopus has a chewy texture that people don't enjoy, but this grilled octopus was soft and easy to eat.

Next came the main dishes. The menu has changed a bit since our first visit to Tiffins, but that was okay because it's fun try new things!

We decided to order the Grilled Swordfish, and Wagyu Beef Bolognese. While they were both good, the Grilled Swordfish came out on top as the winner. The pasta was good, but nothing spectacular. The swordfish paired well with the rice and tsukemono (pickled veggies), and the carrot puree was light and complemented the dish well.

The portions were just right and we didn't really have room for dessert, but we decided to indulge anyway. There's always room for dessert, right? We started off with a Vanilla Rooibos tea. The tea smelled amazing, and tasted even better. It had a relaxing, calming effect on our stomachs. The desserts we ordered were the South American Chocolate Ganache, and the Guava Mousse.

Both desserts were delicious and the meal ended with our stomachs happy and hearts full. Going with friends and family and having good conversations makes it an even fuller experience. It's easy to say that Tiffins is one of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World as it consistently has excellent food and service. We will definitely be going back again!
