We were chasing the American Dream.
But, it wasn’t our dream.
Even before we met, we both dreamed of traveling the world.
The only problem: We thought we first had to reach Financial Independence to do that.
We were wrong. Our dream of living the Nomadic Lifestyle was far easier than we had imagined.
We weren’t millionaires when we started traveling,
but we were already experiencing a life that we thought only millions of dollars could buy.
In fact, while traveling, we learned that we were actually spending LESS money than if we had stayed at home!

So, when remote-work took off during the global covid pandemic, it only made sense to share the secret of how to reach Financial Independence the quickest:

Along the way, travel has also opened our eyes in ways we never imagined.

Travel helps us find solutions to problems that we likely never thought about before.
Ones that we can apply in our own country to make it better.

Our friends call us Jenny & Bradley.
Guess that means you can call us Jenny & Bradley too! :)
We are the creators of this website - and we are glad that you found us.
Our story begins before we even met, with our desires to travel the world. Jenny had already taught English in Japan for 6 1/2 years and traveled to quite a few different countries. Bradley had been deployed to a few countries while serving in the military and then visited and lived in a few others after his service.
It was fate that we met in Florida - and we have put together quite an amazing story since then!
Soon after our wedding, we decided to travel the world… endlessly!
And “Eat Wander Explore” was born.

Jenny's travels originally brought her to Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Macau, Canada, France, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Bahamas while living in the United States.
She has experience as an Online Ad Trafficker, an Airline Hardware Buyer, an ESL teacher, and a Store Manager at Disney’s EPCOT theme park. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and currently serves as President & Senior Software Developer at Eat Wander Explore.
Background: The foodie. Grew up in Hawaii. Taught English in Japan for 6.5 years, former Disney cast member, and took her very first flight at 3 months old.
Dislikes: Chocolate, large crowds, small boats on large waves
Wants to go to: Taiwan, Nepal, Croatia, Switzerland, Prince Edward Island, Shanghai Disneyland, Sri Lanka, and Tanzania.
Dreams of: family vacation trips, visiting all the Disney Parks in one calendar year
Wants to learn: app programming, fluency in Japanese and Italian, and how to meal prep
Aspires to: inspire others to try new things, make travel easier for all, have a profitable business
Bradley's travels originally brought him to Mexico, Kuwait, Djibouti, Kenya, England, Dominica, St. Lucia, Belize, Honduras, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and the Bahamas while living in the United States.
He has experience as a Senior Consultant, Financial Analyst, IT Department Controller, and an Investment Manager. He has an M.B.A. and currently serves as the Finance & Operations Manager at Eat Wander Explore.
Background: The unshakable entrepreneur. Grew up near Chicago, former investment manager and financial analyst, and served in the USMC.
Dislikes: Bugs, messes, salespeople who lie, and being late.
Wants to go to: Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Madagascar, Nepal, Japan, and a few places in China.
Dreams of: going to Everest Base Camp, raising a family in New Zealand, living the simple life
