You will receive a certificate for completing the Remote Coding Bootcamp, however you’ll also receive professional-level certificates that are considered the gold-standard in the industry (from top tech companies). We utilize programs from Harvard University in the United States, well-known industry-approved online learning platforms that provide highly accepted professional programming certifications, and - most importantly - you will also earn elite certifications from AWS, Cisco, Google, Microsoft, and/or CompTIA. These are seen within the industry as “better-than” degrees and standard certificates. The certificates that you earn will have those industry credentials on them, as well as QR codes that employers can use to verify them.

Our program is not a stand-alone course; rather, it integrates top-tier, industry-recognized resources with our own career development services. For example, our Introduction to Programming season features a Harvard University course that awards an elite certificate. In Season 2, you'll receive training through established online platforms, earning certifications that are highly regarded in the industry. Season 3 focuses on Agile/Scrum methodologies—with the option to pursue an additional certification—as well as an introductory cloud certification from either Microsoft or AWS. Beyond the coursework, our in-house agency partners you with remote freelancing opportunities to build real-world experience and generate income. Finally, our career services team is dedicated to helping you build a professional resume, craft compelling cover letters, and develop a robust technical portfolio, all while providing personalized mock interview preparation to ensure you succeed in both behavioral and technical interviews.

Generally, to do the training portion of the program, it requires about 1-3 hours per day - or about 5-15 hours per week (you could just do it on the weekend or after work). With that, you should be able to complete the training part of the program in the timeframe that is listed on this page (each skillset has a different timeframe, but those are listed on the images for each of the separate programs). This is generally between 250-600 hours of total training, not including freelancing and career planning.

While you can reach out in the community to get assistance in any of our training modules at no additional cost, you can also get a personalized tutor or mentor to help you progress through the program. Our tutors and mentors each have a minimum of 10 years of industry coding experience and previous tutoring/mentoring experience as well. We do our best to pair you with a tutor or mentor that will be specific to your area of training. Feel free to request a free consultation to decide if mentorship or a tutor is right for you. AI assisted mentorship is also free for all students to use.

Every aspect of this program is designed to be 100% online and available to everyone around the world. Networking in the coding community is also global, but there are some larger communities in certain regions or large cities specifically. Please note that we introduce you into the larger networks and provide job interview training based on those larger areas because that is where the higher paying remote jobs are offered. Your location will not matter for these networking events or job interviews as they will all be online through the Teams or Zoom apps.

This program is designed for beginners, meaning that you do not require any previous experience with coding. We are moving into an era where programming and artificial intelligence will be used in almost every type of career, and there is currently still a shortage of people to cover the number of jobs available. These careers offer career mobility, increased flexibility, and job security. However, it may be unlikely that someone in programming will keep a career at any one specific company for 10-30 years in a row, there will always be companies looking for your skills and likely ready to offer you an increase in your salary to switch within 2-5 years. As the pay increases rapidly, you may not find the need to work for more than 10-20 years.
