Although we visited some of these locations on our own, most of the ones around London are available as a bus or walking tour as well. We recommend doing the London Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter and taking the Harry Potter Walking Tour of London if you are looking for the movie magic feeling with your adventure in the United Kingdom. If you’re a really adventurous person and want to explore the highlights of England, Scotland, and Ireland within a two week period, check out the England, Scotland and Ireland tour as well!

Dumbledore apparates Harry and himself to a small island just outside of these caves. While the island was placed here using CGI for the film, the island actually does exist - just not in this location! The island is called “Lemon Rock” and is not too far away, just between the shoreline and the Skellig Islands. Rumor has it that Lucasfilm asked the Wizarding World team where that island actually was located, and when they shared that it was “Lemon Rock”, the Star Wars team checked it out and selected the nearby Skellig Micheal for their Jedi Temple. You can see it on the RIGHT hand side of a picture here. Although we saw it with our own eyes, we couldn’t get close enough for a decent photo.
Daniel Radcliffe’s Education
City of London School, London, England
Apart from the Sussex House School, Daniel Radcliffe also attended the City of London School. Although he only took 3 advanced level exams here in 2006, he received all “A” grades. He has taken a break from education since then to pursue his acting career.
Apart from doing a bus tour of filming locations around London, we also recommend doing the London Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter and taking the Harry Potter Walking Tour of London. If you’re a really adventurous person and want to explore the highlights of England, Scotland, and Ireland within a two week period, check out the England, Scotland and Ireland tour as well!
